The Society owns a number of properties that have been built or adapted specifically for people with disabilities. These properties are highlighted under the heading "Special Property Details" on lists of our accommodation, provided on request.

Where disability occurs at a later stage, the Society will try to assist by identifying funding for necessary adaptations and completing the works required and/or liaising with other agencies who are in a position to provide funds.

Typical adaptations include:

• Bath rails and easy grip taps to baths and wash hand basins
• Level access showers
• Wheelchair ramps
• Grab rails and ramped access.
